As closures remain in place, chances are you’re not searching for a “child care near me.” However, this too, shall pass! In the meantime, here at Wollaston Child Care, we remain committed to our families both inside and outside of the center. This commitment continues with our online resources aimed at keeping your children engaged in learning activities. And, it just so happens that May is get caught reading month!
As a nationwide campaign founded by the Association of American Publishers, this challenge is set for all ages and stages. With a goal of reminding everyone how much fun reading is, Get Caught Reading is held throughout classrooms across the country. Of course, this year is a bit different.
However, we’d like to extend the excitement and invite you to challenge your children to read on their own! It doesn’t matter what they’re reading, it doesn’t matter if they’re “reading” or checking out the pictures, it’s even better if they’re using their imagination to create their own story! Whatever the case may be, book in hand is what we’re looking for!
